Voyager 1 Termination Shock - Heliosheath - Cosmic Ray Subsystem Data Plot > 0.5 MeV/nuc Ions

At the AGU 2005 scientists have announced that Voyager 1 has passed the termination shock and is now entering the heliosheath. Since the plotting tool at the Cosmic Ray Subsystem Data Page only allows plots for one year max., I've merged the "> 0.5 MeV/nuc Ions"-"Yearly 6-hour average plots" from 2000 to 2005.

Clearly visible, the cosmic ray flux is more or less constant until July 2002, begins to fluctuate until February 2003, settles again until June 2003, fluctuates until January 2005 when the termination shock is passed by the spacecraft. Since January 2005 the particle flux is steady again, but has increased in comparison to July 2002 and before.
